Control-M Implementation Starter Service

This Service installs and configures Control-M/Enterprise Manager (Control-M/EM) and Control-M/Server in one high-availability non-production environment to automate IT jobs.

What you get:

BMC will perform the following:

  • Install and configure:
    • Control-M/EM and Control-M/Server in one high-availability non-production environment
    • Up to two Control-M/Agent instances for UNIX and Microsoft Windows
  • Configure:
    • Up to five sample jobs
    • One sample SLA service and one sample self-service
  • Validate installed Control-M components and configured sample jobs
  • Prepare final versions of the Solution Design Document, Test Plan, Test Results Report, and Construction Document
  • Provide knowledge transfer of BMC’s recommended Control-M best practices with Customer’s production operations staff

Customer will be responsible for providing access on the agreed start date to:

  • Their internal domain expert resources, such as schedulers, application developers, and automation beneficiaries
  • Providing the necessary technical resources for the installation and configuration, such as infrastructure and network administrators

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

  • Solution Design Document
  • Test Plan Document
  • Test Results Report
  • Construction Document

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.

Pre-requisites:

Customer must complete the required activities as described in the Service-Start Prerequisite Document provided by BMC before the start of engagement.
