BMC AMI DevX Total Test 20.x: Fundamentals Concepts (WBT)

BMC AMI DevX Total Test (formerly BMC Compuware Topaz for Total Test) is an automated testing solution that enables developers and testers to test mainframe programs and subprograms almost immediately after updating a piece of code. Performing automated testing through Total Test increases the effectiveness and coverage of software testing, lowers failure rate, and ensures higher-quality software. BMC AMI DevX Total Test is available from BMC AMI DevX Workbench for Eclipse (formerly BMC Compuware Topaz Workbench), which is an Eclipse-based IDE.

This web-based course provides learners a comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts related to automated testing, types of testing, and the need for variations in testing. The course introduces the perspective and views in Total Test, basic preference settings for tests, and the differences between test scenario and test case in Total Test. The course also helps learners understand the most important aspects involved in analyzing a test requirement before performing an automated test in Total Test.

*This course was created with the former Compuware names, but the content is valid for users of both versions. The course lessons have not been changed to reflect the new names.
